# SubLunio browser media engine

The generated JavaScript contains the combined upstream licence notices. Keep them with the binaries.
libav.js and FFmpeg are LGPL; FFmpeg is configured without GPL/nonfree components. LAME is LGPL.
OpenH264 2.5.1 uses Cisco's BSD licence. emfiberthreads uses its upstream licence included in the source archive.
See dependency source files and headers for the full terms.

Source: libav.js commit c80e885c3461f7bb7ea565c9631b34243ae0dbf1, FFmpeg 9.0, LAME 3.100,
OpenH264 2.5.1 and emfiberthreads 1.3. Compiler: Emscripten 6.0.5.
SubLunio patches embedded ffprobe cleanup, adds an asynchronous output drain for bounded local previews,
and preserves monotonic WebM block order after Opus CodecDelay without retiming either track.
No DRM removal is included.

libav-build-source.tar.xz includes exact build scripts/configuration, dependency source archives and application patches.
The Dockerfile rebuilds the Linux version from the pinned revision. The local source also records MSYS2 path adaptations;
these are development-environment changes and are not needed by Docker.

You may replace this LGPL engine with a compatible build: rebuild the same variant, copy its three assets into static/media,
and update manifest.json with scripts/hash-media.py. Interfaces are in media-worker.js and preview-worker.js.
No proprietary key or SubLunio account is needed to access source or replace the engine.
